Why do we have to be smart for this one?
The answer is maybe. And a substantial amount of voters will probably vote AGAINST Hilary because of her sex.

Yes, when it comes to a number women, primarily those that are either working or going to college, or both.
But not men, it will seem weird to hear a guy say, "oh, I really want want a women for president." In fact I think some men will not vote for her because she is a woman.
So, in the end it could even out, it all comes down to who's motivated to get out and vote.

I would never use gender or race or religion or any other such thing as a criterion for my support of any candidate. The only things that matter to me, are the only things that should matter to everyone.
1. Where does a candidate get their campaign financing (In other words, who are they beholden to),
2. How they stand on all the most important quality of life issues,
3. Whether or not the candidate is a member of the CFR,
4. Whether or not the candidate has ever attended a Bilderberger meeting.
5. Whether or not they support the NWO agenda
Numbers 3, 4, and 5 are absolute negatives, and it is my understanding that she is a member of the CFR, that she has attended at least one Bilderberger meeting, and that she supports the NWO agenda. So, for those reasons, I would never vote for her, even though I am totally liberal progressive, and she claims to also be a liberal....although I really don't believe that she is. *sm*

I don't know if a substantial amount will, but I know that some people will vote for her on that fact alone. Just like people voted for George W. Bush because he was the first and only "special" candidate.

I think if you or they are smart, they will investigate her as a person rather than on sexuality. Although women think vastly different than men, both can make decisions based upon several or many ways. She is smart, and calculating. She probably will have the same top quality advisers around her. And love him or not, her husband is a knowledgeable adviser who is still revered around the world, never in history has this been so.
To choose her or not on her sex is plainly stupid, and probably a reason women weren't allowed to vote way back when. Time have changed, and gladly so. Many intelligent women won't vote for her.

Hopefully not. Smart people will access the situation and compare what is said to what they feel, believe, etc.
I believe that there is a good chance that, like with any familiarities one has, whether it be race, sex, even religion, one has a skew to vote for people like themselves.
The word Substantial needs to be defined to answer this question. Do you mean 10%, or 50%.
Maybe somebody smarter than me needs to make those assumptions as to the objective use of the word "substantial."

If by 'substantial' you mean -some-, then probably, yes. But I think a lot more voters will vote against her because of her gender. Just as some people will vote for Mitt Romney because of his religion or Obama because of his race, still more will vote against them because of those things.

Well I also think a substantial amount of people will vote for Obama because of his race, depending on who wins for the Democrat party. Hilary is a very powerful woman and she's smart too, but I don't know if she would make the greatest president.

I am positive "a substantial amount of voters will vote" for Senator Hillary Clinton.
What she does in her bedroom is no-ones business.

People vote for what people stand for. There has never been a woman president but then again at one time a woman did not have a right to vote. I think some people will not vote for a woman because there has never been a woman in that office. Time will tell.
