NEW YORK - Tom Curley, CEO of The Associated Press, called on news executives Thursday to "stop pining" for the past and adapt to the new ways that news is being distributed and consumed.

"The first thing that has to go is the attitude," Curley said. "Our institutional arrogance has done more to harm us than any portal."

Yeah, you might want to actually do a little reading on the articles that you post.

What he's talking about is old-school newspapers and such having an attitude about sticking with the traditional way of getting news out, via newspaper, radio, TV, etc. He's talking about adapting to the new media of the internet and other new forms of communication.

Yet another Rush Limbaugh listener, lacking critical thought.

What I'd like to see is honest, individual reporting. Not the "mass media" format that's been going on for some time.
