Why doesn't the stupid teacher do her job?

My stupid typing teacher expects us to grade our own papers....well we do but like when she checks over them she like yells across the room oh you didn't do this right, come back you missed a mistake, you graded this wrong....blah blah blah. If she thinks we do such a bad job at grading papers why the hell can't she do her own job, what she signed up for, and grade the damn papers herself.

you can't get a better grade in typing....you can't backspace or look at the keys so how the hell would you be able to get a better grade...ya you can't.

well, assuming your in hs, that teacher has about 6-8 periods to teach everyday.
with like 20+ kids per class, that'd be a lot of papers to grade.
maybe she has other work to get done instead of 140+ papers, so she looks to y'all to help her.
also, like the first poster said, she's probably trying to help you notice your mistakes so you'll get better grades and whatnot.
i mean, she shouldn't be yelling at you, but i know i'd be crabby after spending a day with some bratty hs kids [not saying all are, since i'm in hs, but like every class has that one reallly annoying kid, ya know?]

Your teacher is teaching you how to become more independent and responsible in your work habits.In the real world no one will stand by you and look over your shoulder to ensure that your work is accurate.In the real world accuracy is expected.It may seem that your teacher is not doing her job but you will learn about being more critical of your efforts and hopefully take pride in your speed and accuracy.Take care.

I've had the same problem when I was in 7th grade but that was 4 years ago, that math teacher then did do the same thing what your teacher is doing i think it is stupid as well.

I 2d what Stephen pronounced above. inspite of the certainty that i will alert you: it somewhat is lots greater durable than in seems! Very stressful and thankless in many procedures. you're able to truly love coaching and young ones (even whilst they are being turds). i like it even however I come domicile frazzled many nights.

OMG, YOU TOO? MY FRENCH TEACHER MAKES US DO THAT AND I HATE THAT, HALF OF THE STUFF I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M DOING AND THEN WITH THAT IF *I* MESS UP SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET MAD AND CONFRONT OR ASK ME WHAT WAS UP WHEN I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON, THERE ARE TOO MANY LAZY AS$ TEACHERS THESE DAYS AND IT IS TRULY GETTING ON MY NERVES, IT'S NOT LIKE I PLAN ON GRADING TEST OR BECOMING A TEACHER WHEN I GET OLDER ANYWAYS!

first i want to say your teacher is a lot better but in my school teachers do nothing in class but sleeping they come and go when the bell rings and they also theach in privet.if we dont get admission to the teacher they give us 0 in 100.get it.

well, she might be trying to teach the class to be self reliant which is a good quality to have. but if you really have a problem with it ask your parents to make a complaint to the principal.

Sounds more like she's trying to get you to examine your work closely to understand where your mistakes are and how you can improve.
