On my father's (and some on my mother's) side of the family there's a lot of relatives and it seems like half of them are disabled in some way (but in various ways), from observing, I've noticed depression, learning disabilities, mental retardation, speech impediments, morbid obesity, breathing, and various medical problems run in my family. Can a learning disability (even the nogenetic types) be genetic in a family tree?

No. First, most disabilities are not genetic. Second, there is no "one size fits all" gene. Much of the behavior (e.g. obesity, depression) is often acqquired, not genetic. It may "run in families" dure to socia dysfunctions--this is not at all uncommon and has nothing to do with genetic disorders.

Many diabilities are genetic, but it is unlikely to be a single, or single set of gene's. Each disability is due to an absence, abnormality, or excess of genes. Typically genes related to the disability (ie, a disability with sight, would be based on genes that control sight, while the genes that cause diabities are the genes that effect sugar.

It could be a syndrome - which is a disorder that has different manifest symptoms in different people. Downs syndrome is an example. Not sure what specific syndrome you're describing - but a genetic defect could affect a very specific thing or have a broad general effect such as you're describing. You should talk to your doctor if you're worried about it.

I believe many declared disabilities are inherited. As for as the mental health issue, I am disabled and it can lead to mental health depression problems very easily. I do not take anti-depressants though. Jesus is My anti-depressant and he works quite well, thank you.

Often entire families can become hypochondriac that means
they think themself sick -even if not- so think the whole thing over before you seek medical help at all.
Often a medical malpractice can make more harm, then a temporary lethargy, or melancholy.

i think it can be generic because everyone in my family has that same issue. i say that because i have to watch what i do because i dont want to have diabetes or have no pressure in my leg. and i dont want to be in a wheelchair. everything that happened to my grandparents on both sides are happening to my dad and other relatives that are younger then what my grandparents on both sides are. so i have to really watch what i do. when i go to get check at the doctors i make sure i get tested for everything you can possibly get in life so i know i am still ok and live my life.

No. Genes are on specific chromosomes and are all very very specific.
