Do the clothing fashions really vary state to state or are all the states basically similiar. Like for example are flats, skirts with leggings, and babydoll tops fashionable in like every state? Thanks :)

Pretty much, although I think fashions come out earlier on either the east or west coast, as they seem to be the trendsetters, and the home of all the fashion designers.

I think skirts and leggings are very teeny boppy- something only 12-15 year olds wear in order to show how "trendy" they are. Babydoll tops ar on ther way out and being replaced by tunic tops.
But, yes, all states do pretty much have the same things in style... some areas are just slower to get to it than other, like rural areas for example.

Well, Some fashions are worldwide, some are only in the US... infact a lot of them I can think of are only in the US. but you have to understand that fashion moves so fast. one day your in one day your out.
It might be cool to wear one thing in Ohio, but if you go to new york wearing it they might think your crazy... lol.
To answer your question I would say the general idea for an outfit made up of flats, skirts with leeging & babydoll tops are in fashion right now, for kids, teens, and younger adults.

I live in Australia, and here they do. Like Brisbane is 6 months ahead of my home town, and all the beach towns are boho, and the upperclass metro cities are all layers and bright colours and dress classier
