Seeing the first movie you mentioned was "Blow". I have not seen the movie but it sounds like it is a promotion for the wonders of cocaine that could make it sound cool. "Scarface" is another movie that depicts the world of cocaine. Not a good world.
How about watching "Christiane F" (1981). Maybe you will think drugs are not so cool after watching this true story. I am sure you are not into drugs and I want to make sure you never are. I lost my grandson to drugs and it really hurts.
I think you girls would like some of the older classic movies as I do. Maybe I am wrong. But here they are anyway.
Now for some older cool stuff. Have you seen "When Harry Met Sally"? (1989). She faked an orgasm in the restaurant that is classic.
Do you want to see an old Clint Eastwood flick that is not really well known? Try "Play Misty for Me" (1971) with Clint and Jessica Walter. Pretty suspenseful.
If you would like some teen flicks that were before your time that you may like, maybe before your parents time or about their time. How about?
"Rebel Without a Cause"
"American Graffiti"
So much for teen flicks. Lets try some old classic films before your time. Have you seen any of the doomsday films? Such as:
"On the Beach" Gregory Peck, Ava Gardner.
"Fail Safe" Henry Fonda.
"Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964)" Peter Sellers, George C. Scott.
Any old flick you can find is going to be better then anything you find made in the last few years.
This time of year you have to watch "A Christmas Story". Remember it? "You will shoot your eye out".

Nothing will ever beat Animal House for a good college flick

but Revenge of the Nerds can be fun if you're drunk enough

LOL I don't see how "blow" is a college movie, but ok. I'll add Animal House and Grandma's Boy. Grandma's Boy isn't really set in college but it's hilarious and it does have guys getting baked and playing video games, so basically it's relatable.

I can recommend Tall Story with Anthony Perkins and Jane Fonda. It's old and black and white, but its lots of fun.
