You stretch them using bigger gauges. Standard ear piercing is 18g. Then you get bigger to 16g then 14g so on and so forth all the way to 00g. After that, it's measured in fractions of an inch [like 7/16]. The smaller the number, the bigger the gauge and therefore the hole... so 4g is bigger than 10g.
If I take mine out [00g] they are just big holes. My ex, though, when he took his out, his would sort've close up and look like buttholes. haha.

Pierce your ear like normal, but wait for it to heal VERY well (at least 6 months). Using bio-oil and vitamin e oil will reduce scar tissue and promote healthier lobes, that are a must for stretching/gauging your ears.

Then, get a very small stretcher and push it through. NEVER skip sizes. You do this once a month with a larger taper/plug until you reach the desired size. Usually, anywhere within 6 - 15mm is the "point of no return" where your ear has less likely of a chance of returning to a normal piercing sized hole.
There are many techniques of stretching you ears, but tapering is the easiest. To save time and money, and to have healthier lobes, put a layer of teflon (non-adhesive) tape on the taper each day. This gradually increases the size of the hole using the same piece of jewellery. However, you should not tape more then 10mm on each piece of jewellery, and must keep the tape smooth.

You must do your research for the care and techniques, as ear stretching is actually rather dangerous.

How do they look when removed?
Under 6mm usually looks like a slightly larger hole, barely noticeable when it is removed. They'll usually heal up fairly easily back to a normal size. Larger sizes leave gaping, visible holes, and depending on how careful you are and how much you look after them, they can be clean and neat looking, or scarred and wrinkly looking.

Are you talking about gauging your ears? Well, it all depends on the gauge. You would have to talk to a professional piercer about it, but usually they might start with a 14 gauge, and from there, you have to stick those half-moon looking earrings in your ear. You pull a little bit through at a time in order to get the gauge size that you want. There are many sizes for the gauge, and depending on how big you want it, you will have to buy more half-moon earrings. After you have your ears gauged as big as you want, you put the plugs in and allow it to heal. When you take the plugs out, your ear will have a droopy hole in it (it's cartilage so the skin will just drop). You can put clear plugs in, but that doesn't really help. Most ears that have big gauges like 0-1 would require surgery to close them.

You do could anticipate specific a minimum of 6 to eight weeks so you might have the skill to take out the piercing earing. After which you will replace for an earing of your very own- only confirm to have it reachable. additionally, after 6-8 months you may eliminate your earing. It additionally relies upon on the place its pierced with the aid of fact if its your cartiledge then it is going to take a on a similar time as longer to heal yet while its your loob it is going to likely be quicker. additionally much less painful. attempt getting a bottle of ear antiseptic - it helps the healing technique and use it a minimum of two times an afternoon rotating the earing for a greater effective healing. :)

The actual piercing process is no different than any other lobe piercing. After it's pierced, you slowly stretch them until they're the gauge (size) you want.

Once the holes are stretched, I don't think they ever look "normal" again, especially if you've stretched to a large gauge.

You can pierce them normally and gradually stretch the piercing to the size you want. Buy tapered jewlery and go from there.

Or you can go for a dermal punch, which is essentially like taking a hole puncher to your ear. Its a quick way to have the size holes you desire, but if you ever choose to remove them they won't ever completely close up and will have to be surgically closed.

What are plugs? I'm not understanding your question. As for getting your ears pierced, it's rather painful at first, and until they heal, you have to wear starter earrings made of stainless steel or real gold, in order to avoid infections or allergic reactions to certain metals. Also, you need to clean your earlobes with peroxide every morning and night. It usually takes several months of healing before you can wear regular earrings.

pierce like normal, and you have to stretch the hole gradually with the plugs, putting in a bigger size as the hole becomes accustomed. Depends on how big the plug was before you took it out. My ltl sister had a smallish one and that healed back together but i have nother friend that had huge ones in, n now he looks like a freak if he takes them out n they're so dangly he can almost put his earlobes in his mouth eeeewwww!

I think they just peirce your ears and then you buy the gages slowly bigger sizes to plug them to whatever size you want. Be careful cuz it can mess up your ear lobes and cause them to break or become dependent on the plugs.

its by stretching, every few days put a larger "plug" in your ear so it stretches it out. Make sure you keep something in your ear for a while (several months) before taking it out and going without.
