Knowing that the average course is only 16/52 weeks per year and that if they're only studying one subject then yes. My youngest son is doing a degree course and attends for around four periods per week. Yes, he has a fair amount of research but with the advent of the internet that has become a doddle! I'd make it 18 months but don't forget that the tutors are used to very long and frequent holidays and they won't give them up easily! I'm sure the parents of the overseas students would also appreciate the courses being shortened as it costs them a fortune - if they ever remember to pay the tutorial bills which the uni's send out after graduation! Three years used to be considered enough time for your fledglings to have left the nest too but not now they can't get jobs and so come home to the bank of mum and dad.

Hi. nice to see that you are looking forward to study. we all face some or the other problems in life due to which we have to sacrifice somrthing. Now, as you didn't told your last class attended and passed, I would suggest you, if you like, join some computer course,e.g diploma in networking, hardware, programming, etc., to begin with as you finish this course, go for degree and move ahead in your life as you wish to. Hope I tried to give you something which is related to your ques.

A good thing for you to do would be to go to your local library and find a career book. It will list just about every job out there and tells everything from wage, hours, pros and cons of the career, number of expected openings / ease of finding a job in your state. It also has a couple paragraphs that describe what to expect in the job and what college courses need to be taken. Thats how I chose mine: software developer. If you are intelligent and like a challenge, maybe something in computers would be good for you. You only live once, so find a job that you like.
