I am selling them to my friends and family, and I would just like to know what you think.

Thankyou for all your answers! The difference in your opinions are varied and interesting, and goes into my market research. If you care to elaborate on any negative opinions; such as why "crap" is used as a description I can better understand the market. I would be grateful for any comments however, good or bad.

They are soap products.
Really, they work, but that is not why people buy it.
Two things matter.
1) The packaging.
Avon classic glass containers are collectibles.
2) The fact that you only buy it through Avon. Avon classic glass containers are collectibles.

I just read what I wrote. I sound like a total mercenary "________,"
So What. If I was heading into the jungles of Guatamala for 6 months I would not be packing cases of *Skin so Soft*. I would be taking gallon jugs of DEET 99.9%, and not worried at all about how it dissolves plastics and nervous systems.
Skin so soft has mild repellants, does not wreck childrens nervous systems and does not make you smell like a randy goat that has been having sex with deviant alligators in the depths of the deep dark swamps. (sorry if that is strongly worded but real deet stinks. It is meant to be put on your hat and outer clothing, never on your skin.) Skin so soft is a skin lotion that leaves you smelling slightly of citronella.

The only problem I see with some of the product is that it smells like old age. They need to work on the scents more so keep that in mind about who you are selling it to.
You might like to sideline some real scents with it sometimes.
And I do mean real, and in real small, real pricey, amounts. With real personal and authentic labels.
Note that you do not sell $25.00ml scents for less than $50.00ml and in containers that reflect the value.
You might even think of selling the containers, with product of choice. It can be done.
Some of the perfume dippers were never meant to be used as regular perfume dippers, but more as "OH , Gosh, I Luvyahs."
A small bit of real musk will have everybody's body in your house in the *mood for love* if you spill it carelessly.
Incliding the cats and the roaches.

Avon has been in operation for over 45 years, if they didn't have a good product, and dedicated users, they would not be here today. Great products, good prices, and dedicated users.

If you are willing to sell the products, you should have a certain level of confidence in the products, if you are going to sell them to family and friends. I guess at that rate what anyone else things of them does not really matter.

I dont like avon at all, ..i've used many products over the years, and use to sell.
I think the products are cheap...
and many of the lotions and make ups , forget it, ...i know more people that get rashes from them...including myself.
They have some cute...none make up/lotion items that are cute looking, but its basically cheap stuff.....

I love Avon! growing up, my mom selled it. & i know that she had alot of fun w/ it. i'm planning on getting into it as well. I love all the products of couse. and selling it is a great way to get discounts and socialize. :]

I think there okay. some of the sale things are reasonably priced. But i usually don't find anything i just LOOOOVE from them.. Also the shipping prices stink on the website

The ones I've tried are awesome. I have a perfect match foundation to my skin, and if i do it right, I can sometimes get an airbrushed look

Most of the scents are too strong for me because I get migraines. But i love the skin so soft bath oil. Their jewelry is pretty and i love lots of other stuff too. Only problem is they are too pricey. out of my range anyway.

Like with everything - Some I like, some I don't.
They have a lot of non-cosmetic stuff, which I like.
I buy stuff off and on.
