And you've nailed the reason why I don't watch generic shonen series like Naruto, Bleach, DBZ, etc.

Instead I watch epic stuff like Baccano! and enjoy every single second of it.

i've found that most anime movies are filler and hence not very good since they are just meant to fill a movie theater (so the company/producers recycle ideas) instead of creating a good plot (normaly what manga authors do).

Yes... very... I guess sometimes creators want what everybody does... since many have the same plots...
At least some has really good plots...
