saw stars and then he whopped me a couple times on the back of the head pretty hard. I felt like stabbing him to death. Now I'm wanting a divorce and he doesn't want it. What's his problem besides me? He makes me sick. Any one else living this nightmare?

Unfortunately .... Many women are being abused.
Please contact a Shelter for Battered Women IMMEDIATELY! (Go on-line .... Or call 911 and ask for help!)
These Shelters have all kinds of resources ... Including legal-aid and support groups. These Shelter also have information .... If you do NOT leave .... somebody is GOING to die!!! Either he will kill YOU .... OR you will kill him .... Either
way .... NOT GOOD!
By the way .... the fact that is doesn't want a divorce is typical.
The abuser is always "momentarily" remorseful when faced with the consequences of his actions. Remember, that it is
only ... momentary ..... Get the hell out of there!

I have been in that nightmare. It is not pretty and it does not get any better. It does get worse. It does not matter if he does not want a divorce, get on anyway. I would get out of there before he kills you or you do stab him. Good luck.

No, I am not, but I would definitely not stay with anyone who did that. Violence usually just gets worse. Thank God you are not dead or disabled by what he's done so far, but by all means leave and find a lawyer to help you speed up the divorce process. If you've got any kids, take them with you. Anywhere else.

Call 9-1-1 and get away from him for good. File for divorce and a restraining order but do not stab him.

I lived that nightmare one time exactly . I took packed a bag for each of my children and one for myself! I never looked back and have absolutely no regrets! I married another man and have been in love and happy for 22 years.You need to get out while you still can. I don't care who or what stared the fight , there is NO reason for violence. He can't love you for love never hits chokes or any other type of violence!

Yes u should definitely get a divorce and get away from that bad situation, its obvious he doesnt respect u. You should call the cops and get a lawyer, get someone on your side to help u get a divorce fast as possible since the longer u stay married to him the more he will hurt u. I used to be in a somewhat similar situation like that and the man never changes, men who are like that never change instead they get worse, so get out of that sutuation right now. Move ASAP and stay in your parents house or someone u trust instead of living with him.

I'm so sorry that you have to go through such a nightmare you need to get out asap, and make sure you make a police report and get a restraining order against him. Abuse never gets better it only gets worse if you stay and he doesn't get help. I wish you the best.

Get out. Gather what's important to you--photos, papers, several changes of clothes, family heirlooms--and GO. If you don't know where to go, head to the nearest police station. They'll hook you up with a shelter and counseling to start over, and stay away and safe from this guy.

Get out of there as fast as you are able. Your life is in danger if you stay with this guy. Make plans now of where you will go etc. Try a womans centre first and they will give you lots of support.

Did you watch Tina Turner? Ike didnt stop, once they start.. that is it. Its like a engine that never dies. Sometimes it starts with verbal abuse, then smacking, punching, kicking, and sometimes it ends in death. You need to leave the asshole, and focus on you. What real MAN puts his hands on a woman? His *** should be in jail.
