Yes, ever since that time i went to my cousins wedding, we stayed at a filthy motel, and all night i could fell things crawling on me, so i finally got up, and looked down on my body and there was little black bugs all over me and the bed,,,
And the most disgusting part, i pulled the sheets further down, and there was a freaking half eatin sandwich!

I never have, if you stay at reputable hotels and motels you don't have that worry, because the sheets are bleached and laundered every day. I know, I used to work in housekeeping for Hampton Inn.
IF YOU ARE STAYING IN MOTELS THAT CHARGE BY THE HOUR...Well then you should take your own linens and a couple of cans of cootie spray not to mention lots of Lysol.
Eeeewwww, that just gives me the "ickies."

The majority of trips I go on I either stay with friends or relatives, or we camp. Hotels are too expensive!

i take the "cleaned" sheets they give me and make a bed out of the chairs. My mom said she saw a study that homeless people who haven't been clean for a long time walk around and also sleep on the beds.

Never, that defeats the purpose. To have to make my own bed.
If I find something on the sheets, or they do not smell fresh. I call housekeeping and have them changed by someone else.

I don't take my own bedding, but we always throw the blankets/comforter off b/c you know they never get washed. Of course, there's always the possibility of some nastiness like BEDBUGS.
