I can't belive that there has only been 1 Peter Gabriel era Genesis fan.
My favourites are: Supper's Ready, Watcher Of The Skies, Firth Of Fifth, Epping Forest, etc.
Best Albums: Selling England, Foxtrot, Lamb, Nursery Cryme

"Abacab", Genesis' title track song--bar none. Done w/out original front-man Peter Gabriel, Genesis showed audiences it can survive quite nicely with its surviving bandmates--having Phil Collins become the band's voice AND drummer.
Abacab impressively showed off Collins' vocal and percussion skills. If you have the 45 RPM of their song "That's All" from the Abacab album, play it at 33 1/2 RPM....the effect is soooo cool!!!

For me it's a toss up between 'Fox Trot' and 'Selling England by the Pound'. They are meant to be listened to in their entirety...breaking up the songs is sacrilegious!
But I suppose with much of their later works, Invisible Touch, Duke, Abacab, etc, that's permissible.

My favorite is "Trick of the Tail". It was the first album after Peter Gabriel left. My fave song is the last one, "Los Endos". They used to end their concerts with that song(altho the last time I saw them live was like '84 or '85).

I don't actually listen to Genesis, but my dad's favorite tune is "Turn it On Again" by Genesis. He said it's from the album, Duke. I think he said it's from Duke. I'm not sure. I didn't hear him. It sounded like he said Duke. I think there is an album called Duke. I'm not sure. I didn't hear him. I don't like Genesis at all. I like hip-hop music. I'm sorry. I like T-Pain, I'm sorry. I am not trying to hurt your feelings. I'm just telling you the truth. I don't want to lie to you. I can't lie to you. I cannot tell a lie. Ha, I just felt like saying that. I don't know why. I'm not lying. I don't know why I said that. I don't like Genesis. Really. I like T-Pain. Do you like T-Pain? He's awesome. He is! Seriously! You have to hear some of his songs. You have to hear "Kiss Kiss". It's the song he does with Chris Brown. You and I have completely different tastes in music. I'm sorry. I'm just telling it like it is. You know? I have to tell it like it is. I can't stop doing it. You know? OK. I guess I'll go now. Thanks for listening to what I had to say. I am glad we're acquainted now. You seem like a nice person to get acquainted with. I like getting acquainted with people.
