Yes, yes, and yes again. I really have been blessed over and over with a good life full of the love of family and friends. We all have times when things spin temporarily out of control and chaos begins slipping right up on us.
It is learning to detect those moments when we are most suseptible to chaos and looking at them in a more positive light that enables us to still remain happy.
I am happy and always try to learn something from chaos. Good usually comes out of something bad.
I'm an optimist in every aspect of my life.
But I do have a funny answer that I'd love to share......
Valium. It will everything less chaotic!!!

I have to say...
(I know this is gonna sound weird...)
But, when I am at work i am probably the happiest when things are chaotic. I have good friends to talk to and for those hours of the day no "outside" worries can touch me.
Since I have no other adults around, work is my time to be with other crazy women and leave the worries behind for a few hours...

Well, my life is usually pretty chaotic, but yes, I´m still happy coz I don´t focus on the chaos but on the little joys that come along.

Yes, it may take longer to find because you can't see as clearly when things are chaotic but it's there if you look hard enough for it!!

Oh, yeah. You're just running around smashing stuff. It's a very warm and happy feeling. I mean, who wouldn't feel some kind of euphoria about being tied to the front of a car with a brick on the accelerator (metaphorically, of course)?

As long as I have a few good books around (Currently, anything by Hunter S. Thompson) and the music of The Smiths or Morrissey. And a few choice friends to laugh quietly about the craziness of it all. Also, the look of bliss on my cats face when she's licking my ears. (don't ask)

I generally get panic attacks when everything is chaotic...I do find happiness when everything calms down, though.

Sometimes the utter overwhelming chaos will make me laugh hysterically! I just take a seat and laugh and for some reason it releases the stress and things seem easier to cope with.

Yes, it just depends upon the proximity of the chaos. If one considers the entire world, its chaos is on-going; however it is easily distanced. The chaos that is most difficult to set aside is that within one's own family; thus I strive to keep that chaos to a minimum. It's my obligation as a human being, husband and father.

I've been doing that all day, every time that phone rang in the middle of my chaos it brought me lots and lots of happiness. =) Can't wait till it rings again! As long as it's the same person on the other end anyway!
