Are your parents still alive?
Unfortunately both of my parents died in a car accident this year.
I've posted this question once before. I'm just hoping for some new answers. Sorry to be a bother.
Thank you.

For the person who said that his answer would depend on my age/marriage status; I'm 27 and married.

No, my parents are no longer living, but considering that I am 70 that is hardly surprising. They went peacefully at separate times.
It is the tragedy of an accident such as your parents that seems so unfair--losing both at once. I am certainly sorry for your loss.

I am sorry for your loss. A year isn't very long and I am sure that the wounds are still fresh.
Both my parents are still alive. They aren't that old, 67 & 68, I've just been lucky and had the privilege or having them around. My Father is sick now and I worry daily. I don't know what or how I would cope if he died. I always try to remember that God put each of here on this earth for a reason and when we have fulfilled his purpose we will once again be taken from here and move on to a better place.
Your parents are resting in peace and joy and are probably around you, you just cannot see them. They will continue to guide you and love you but in a different way. You'll all be together one day.
God Bless you and your parents.

I am sorry to hear that. I need to be more grateful that my parents are still alive. I have had to contemplate what this world would be like without my mother in it as her health is getting to be a bit delicate; she is 85 years old.
You are not being a bother. A person in need is never a bother. You don't state your age or your living situation. It would make some difference if you were younger or older and single or older and married as to what I would say.
I hope that all who respond to your question do so with loving respect.
My wife's parents both have passed on some years ago due to health problems. Sometimes, I feel that it is not fair that her rather virtuous parents are still not around. The world was a better place for them being in it.

Hi Noelle
My father died 2 years ago and I hadn't seen him in 40 years. My mother is still alive (I think) and I haven't seen her in almost 3 years. Both of my parents were abusive and I didn't have good relationships with either of them.
I am very sorry to hear that you lost your parents in a car accident. That must have been devastating.

You are NOT a bother. I am so very sorry about the loss of your parents. That is so very sad. I lost my Mom 3 years ago to a massive stroke. She was the best Mom ever. {stepmom} I know it is not right to say this--but I wish my Mom was still alive and it was my dad that was gone. I know that is so wrong, but he was never a dad to me. Mom was awesome. She was my friend and only 14 years older than me.

You're not a bother. Sorry for your loss, I can't imagine not having both parents...My father died of cancer, it's been a while now, but the emptiness is still there. I hope you have other family to help you get through this.
You're not alone...you'll be in my thoughts....

my Mom died when she was 58 on Thanksgiving Day, my father entered the hospital 2 1/2 weeks later and eventually died a week before Christmas; he was also 58.
this happened in 2000 so my twins don't remember them, which is sad.
sorry for your loss, no matter how old we are, we can still be kids when it comes to our parents.

Yes, but I don't know for how much longer. They refuse to take care of themsleves. One has diabetes and a heart condition the other has emphazema and a heart condition. And they aren't old enough for me to claim they are incompetant and put them in a home where someone will take good care of them.
