The worst resurant I have ever been to denny's I got a cockroach in my hamburger

Well, i've been to a lot of crappy ones, as well as fairly decent ones. I'd have to say by far the worst dining experience i ever had was at a TGIFridays. In my opinion that's not a 'restaurant' to begin with, but it's okay for a bite to eat every now and again. It took 10 minutes for us to get water. [and drinks] 25 minutes before we even ordered an apetizer, and it took an hour for us to even get the Ap. It was an hour and 45 minutes before we actually got the 'main' course.
It was ridiculous. The waitress was busy flirting with the bartender. And it took for us to ask another waitress to find ours because half the night she was M.I.A.

I've done waitressing before, so i know that sometimes you can get super swamped with tables. I try to very understanding and patient. But, this was ridiculous. Even with all of that bulljive, our order still got screwed up! I shouldve just gotten salad AGAIN. lol, but certain things worry me when i go out someplace to eat, because i've done waitressing. And just because i'm like OCD when it comes to hygene doesn't mean that everyone else is. That makes me afraid. For real.

I tend to like small, less known, private, quiet hole-in-the-wall restaurants, not huge franchises. I find there's better service, and better food there.

*edit* OMG the first guys answer totally grossed me out. *vomits* ......*shivers*

Denny's. Now don't get me wrong, normally Denny's is great. But this particular one sucks - didn't get to order for over half an hour, got drinks after another 15 minutes, food was cold when it got here about another half hour later, AND they got the order wrong plus didn't seem to season the food. Oh yeah, and mustn't forget the waitress from, well, you know. She was surly, and an airhead, with absolutely no sense of humor or manners - and I'm not sure she ever washed her hands.

A T/A truck stop in Meridian, Mississippi, while I was still an over the road truck driver. My ex-wife found a piece of hair in her food, and they wouldn't do anything for us. In fact, they were offended that we were asking for our money back. We ended up getting only fifty cents off a twelve dollar bill for our troubles.

Denny's....service stunk, didn't get waited on for over 20 minutes, then we waited for almost an hour and never even got our food. the floor was filthy and the manager was a complete butthead. I wouldn't walk into a Denny's again if I was starving & it was the only place to eat for 1000 miles!!

One day I went into a McDonalds where there were no managers that day and all the help was fighting with each other, yelling insults and making food wrong.

It was a place called Hunts in Illinois.
I had a sloppy joe and found a bone and two different toothpick pieces. I know they were from two toothpicks because they were different colours.

Denny's. I ordered a chicken breast. I cut into it and blood went all over my plate. That disgusted me.
