Orange Days - romance between a guy and a girl he meets who is deaf. Rate 5/5, great drama about friends, relationships, love and it all takes place in a college atmosphere. You rarely find a college story in a dorama.
Densha Otoko - an otaku trying to impress a beautiful girl he met on the train. Rate 4/5, funny and you always seem to be rooting for the main character. Supposedly based on a true story and everyone knows that true story films always seem to be good.
Proposal Daisakusen - A guy who gets a second chance to go back in time and make the girl he loves fall for him. Rate 5/5, just recently finished this. The story I did not find typical. I really enjoyed this and felt close to the characters. If you watch this one make sure to watch the last scene after the credits. If not you will miss out.

*hana kimi* - based on a manga, a girl pretends to be a guy to be able to enrol in the all-boys school of her idol. lots of eye candy. the lead star in this series, oguri shun, played hanazawa rui in hana yori dango...ikuta toma, who was junpei in HYD, plays the adorable "nakatsu" in this series...
*proposal daisakusen* - somebody already described the synoposis...this jdrama is so romantic and funny at times...i became a fan of yamapi after watching this...
