Is it weird that i like johnny cash and i am 12. I mean people see that i am listening to him on my i.pod and either say that he is old and depressing and they have know idea why i like him or they have never heard of him. If they have heard of him they just asume that i am goth. How does listening to him make me goth?

I don't think they know what their talking about. Maybe the whole black thing. Just because someone wheres all black by no means makes them goth. Their crazy. Don't worry about them be your own person and listen to what makes you feel good.

Like, love him, or neither, but he is an American icon. Despite many musical comparisons to Bob Dylan......I'd rather think of him as the anti-Dylan.

Because alll they know is he wore black and they are immature...he was known as th man in black. he was a wonderful musician and original.Listen to what you like...i do not understand why some people have no clue about music history..
