You can buy acid solutions (muratic acid being one such solution) which will dissolve cement.

These will in all likelihood damage the netting as well.

I think the best solution I think will be to resort to brute force and smash the cement using a sledgehammer.

Hope this is of some help.
Cheers :)

A big hammer to break it up. It's already hardened into a stable compound so it's very difficult to remove it chemically. Anything you could use, such as acid, will eat your fishnet too.

I agree that muriatic acid will eat the cement and also ruin your net. Seems like you could just crumple the net and the cement would just break off and then just wash the net. Unless it is in a large chunk, then you will have to smash it with a hammer or something. Good luck.

Try a dilute acid (dangerous) soak (several hours) to dissolve and crumble limestone cement. I assume the netting is plastic and won't be damaged. If it is string material forget it.

Keep the acid away from other materials and most importantly your eyes. Flush immediately with copious amounts of clean water if you get any acid solution on you.

This will work but it requires intelligent use. Throw the net away if you can't handle the discipline.

hardened cement on fishnet stockings?

reminds me of the movie, "how to murder your wife."

i'd say the stockings are pretty much a write off, best to buy a new pair.

you'll look lovely in them!

The local hardware store might have a chemical called Muratic acid. It is used to clean concrete from bricks and from concrete trucks when it becomes too hard to just wash off. Please be careful with it, though as it is very potent.

try a 4 lb sledge hammer. no chemical removes cement only brute force.

the only way to get it out is to break it. the fish net will probably get busted doing this though. but there is no chemical that will remove it. oh i think salt will weaken it

Why not just bust up the cement with a sledgehammer?!

Scrape off what you can and then apply muratic acid to it. That will nuetralize the lime in the concrete and it will come off. If acids scare you, and they should... you might try vinegar instead as it will cut the lime also.
