After taxes, I'd guess $800-900 a month starting out. You could get a low income apt. for as low as $200/mo maybe lower if you have dependants, and if so get on foodstamps, that's like another $250/mo for two people. If you want medicaid, then makesure they only work you like 30hr. a week so your not available for ins. You can find nice namebrand clothes at churches and charities all year 'round and they also give out food and household stuff, too. So yes, it is possible to make a living at McDonalds, just don't forget to apply for a Pell Grant so you can get some free education on campus or online while your at it.

It depends on how much an hour you will be making and how many hours a week you will be working. Some locations pay more depending on the local job prospects.
