This happened back in June.. I smoked about 3 bowls one night and I got high but I noticed my hands became numb and so did my entire body. I couldn't tell if I was touching my face, hands, etc. but after about 3 or 4 hours I came down and I was relatively fine again. I smoked another bowl the next day and I became pretty toasted again but the effects seemed to last for over 8 hours.

I guess you could say that I no longer "mentally" felt high because I went to sleep and got up and was fine, but physically I still had the numbness effects and they lasted for over a week.

Anyone have any sort of explanation as to why this happened to me? Maybe because I didn't smoke that often and I could have overdone it in a way? I know it's not that the weed was laced--I smoked with a friend who had the same amount and she was fine after.

Thanks for your answers, no criticism or telling me, "Stay away from w33d!" please. I haven't used it again and I'd only smoked 3 times maybe before that.

Possible allergic reaction. Be careful it could be even worse the next time.

Could be one of many things, first thing to consider is if it was laced with something, about the only way to be positive it wasn't is if you grew it yourself. Marijuana also has many side effects if smoked over time, including insomnia, anxiety, depression and so on, also it kills brain cells and after years of smoking a persons brain can begin to look like a sponge from the missing cells, which can also lead to other mental and physical problems. This is why it is illegal. Also the productivity and absentee problems it can cause at a persons place of employment harming not only employers, but the person as well by means of missing days and lack of productivity having long term results of lower raises, and little or no promotions or in worse case the person is injured and fired with no medical bills paid or any of the other goodies that injured persons get who pass the post accident drug screen.

I can tell you what is going on. Cannabis can induce depersonalization and derealization and dissociative conditions and physical numbness. The physical numbess usually goes away within a week or two. The depersonalization can sometimes be life long if left untreated. The only known treatment for CIDD, (Cannabis Induced Depersonalization Disorder) a very rare physiological illness, is something called iboga total alkaloid. Iboga TA is a concentration of the hallucinogenic iboga plant. After several treatments with iboga TA people with CIDD can often be cured. Too much iboga, or certain kinds of iboga like ibogaine HCL or PTA can cause their own pathologies and mental illness. Its like the way LSD can induce schizophrenia in high enough, or frequent enough, doses, but in low doses LSD can cure cluster headaches, once thought to be incurable.

You might be allergic. I'd be careful if I were you. It might cause more harm than good.
