well, i am personally offended by the overuse of emo... any i'm not emo! no, people, it does not necessarily stand for "emotional" anymore! emo's aren't constantly depressed and not all of them cut their wrists. they do tend to be skinny and they don't show a lot of skin and they wear darker colors. They are not all terrible people who become school shooters. It's popularity will fade, but the legacy of emos will live on... there have been emos since Biblical times (read the Psalms) and there will be to the end of time!

Emo people want to be "different" but there are A LOT of emo people and it's taken the meaning out of the word and most people just do it to "be like everyone else"

I could care les for "emo" people, but I hated it when they used it in spider man, it ruined that movie, the whole entire movie blew, but they didn't really have to add those emo scenes... i think it will continue, they'll just change the name as a new age begins...

That depends. Are kids gonna stop acting "emo?" I was sick of it when it first surfaced...not so much the word as the characteristic personality of an "emo" kid. I hope it just fades away...

I have a friend that says it ALL the time, so I am used to it.
I don't know if people who consider themselves EMO stick around, I guess people will keep saying it.

I had no idea what that was until I looked it up, so I don`t think people would give up any way of insulting others. Isn`it a shame?

Let me tell you, I was sick of it when it started. Thank you very much.

And it is truly a trend, it will soon fade one day.
