Personally, I don't have a problem with his mummy being scanned so scientists could do a computer generated likeness of him. I thought it was cool to finally see what he might have looked like. However, I feel that they shouldn't have unwrapped him to show what his face looks like now.
They didn't expose his face for any other reason than morbid curiosity and to me that's wrong.

I really wish all those supposed curses for disturbing the tombs of the departed Egyptians did work.
I think it was disrespectful and wrong to hew poor Mr. King Tut out of his 'final resting place' to become a carnival sideshow. Maybe the barker will at least break a leg on the way home.

Nahh.. This guys been dead for thousands of years. I think he needed to get out of that stuffy old tomb. Think of what an honor it would to be to STILL be recognized as one of the greatest rulers. Now he's not only in a safe environment where he'll last longer but people can appreciate seeing such a historic figure. I think people are too touchy about this, what's gonna happen? Is lightening going to come down and strike the people that decided to preserve him elsewhere? doubbbt it

His body now lies in a temperature and humidity controlled box. Because of the humidity of all the tourists visiting his tomb, his mummy was decaying rapidly. The official department of Egyptian antiquities (whatever it's called) decided that to preserve King Tut, this step was necessary.

As much as I love history and archeology, I am uncomfortable with the displaying of bodies. We would never even consider putting our dead mother or father on display, so why is it more acceptable to do the same with dead strangers?

Hmm, hard to tell, honestly he isn't the first or the last body that'll be dug up for historical and scientific research. And I don't consider historians and scientists worse than grave or tomb robbers/raiders. All in all, not really.
