I`m probably not the one to ask, but I`ll try. By cool, you most likely mean popular, so, the only way I know how to be popular is simply to act natural. That way you will attract a crowd like yourself, and that way you can be more relaxed in your contact with others outside your group. Being tense is not the way to have fun. [ I was Captain of the swim team ]

just be yourself and not to care too much about what other people think or talk about, and as long as you don't hurt, or step on other people toe, or bother them in any way whatsoever and just mind your own business then it is cool but don;t forget also to be compassionate, respectful and courteous towards others, friends, relatives, or otherwise..
