I know Midnight Sonata is a piano piece, but perhaps someone adapted it for both? Also if there isn't one what would be a good suggestion for a song for both violin and piano?

Don't you mean "moonlight sonata" ?

Here is a good one for violin and piano : Nocturne in C# minor number 20 (opus posthumous) by Chopin.
It is a piano piece transcribed for violin and piano. You can find it being played on youtube by various artists.

Why don't just take the piano score for the Moonlight Sonata, and have the violin player play the melodic line?

Beethoven wrote a number of sonatas for violin and piano, a couple being the Spring and the Kreutzer. I see no reason, therefore, why one of his piano sonatas should be transcribed for the medium.
