We're too obsessed with celebrities, professional athletes, and other entertainers that, in reality, contribute very little to bettering society or our lives.
We don't give enough recognition to people that really do make a difference in the quality of our lives such as teachers, soldiers, farmers etc.
Our value system is distorted.
If the celebrities were to disappear tomorrow we would barely notice. If the farmers or truck drivers were to disappear our society would collapse rapidly.

Every generation has its bad side in society. It's all relative just based on different ideals. We have many exciting things going on in our society. Maybe one just needs to look away from the bad and venture a look outside the box to see the GOOD there is.

It's very horrible.
There are many things that should be changed, but I doubt they will be.
Sometimes, I notice these things and I ask my parents or elders why and their answer is always "Because that's the way it is".
So I just have to deal with the way society works.

Personally, I think it's a disaster and I look forward to moving to be closer to my husband's family in Morocco.

not good, everyone is trying to step on others to get ahead and they have their prorities screwed up, and society is ruining our enviroment( i am not a tree hugger)
