Personally, I don't think it will work at all.
After all, look what they tried to do to Cookie Monster.

In my opinion, what will work in helping curve the obesity problem is to practice more self control.

Pretty bad. In England you can be arrested for racism. Not comitting illegal acts associated with racism (as in hate crimes), but racism alone. You can be jailed, tried and sentenced for any thing you do or say that someone else interprets as racist.

I think it's more of a poor reaction to the the issue of obesity, than some sort of political correctness ploy. Still I think it's utterly retarded.
