I started out living in my car in the winter. It made me strong and tough, cause I was homeless in the 60's and cleaned up at a gas station and worked all day to come home driving my home.

For extended periods, Being homeless sucks. Ya work 110 hours a week, can't afford a place to live, and are only entitled to $75 a month in food stamps. Finally I had a few hundred dollars saved up, so I moved up north and found my fortune.

Before that as a hild my mother worked 3 jobs a day and we lived in our car for months on end too. It's quite cozy when ya get used to it.

yes, 25 nights out of a possible 30 my sister and i slept in her Chevy Impala.
We took a rode trip from FL up and over across the bible belt as far as Ft. Sill, OK.....
then to Arkansas then straight up to NY,
landed in Saratoga Springs and lived there for a year.

that 30 day road trip with my sister was the best time of my life

Yes...I had been evicted from an apartment about five or six years ago...didn't have anywhere else to go, so I would go to work at my little rinky-dink fast food job (I just couldn't afford to pay rent anymore), drive away like I was going home, and pull into the parking garage with my knife and mase within arm's reach and go to sleep in my backseat. It wasn't exactly fun, but it beats sleeping under a bridge!

I've slept in the family car plenty on trips. Also, when I have to go to school early, I go into town early with my parents and sleep awhile.

Not an entire night, no. But my dad did in freezing temperatures, outside our house. My mom had a restraining order on him and he had no where else to sleep. My heart broke when I saw him accidently. I was 11 years old and I took all the money I saved up and bought him a few nights stay in a nice hotel.

sure have. the most memorable time was on a road trip on the pacific coast highway in northern california. it was dark, foggy, rainy, i was tired and there was a huge cliff off to my right and the ocean down below. i had to pull over and sleep a bit. the sherriff woke me up banging on my window and scared the you know what out of me! that was such a fun road trip! went from seattle down to san fran, over to vegas, and ended up in ohio. i slept in my car many nights on that trip.

Yes, but not while driving of course ;]

usually when i drive to LA, about a 6h drive so i sleep. i have the whole back row of the car to myself so i just lie down, listen to my Ipod, and drift off to sleep. even though i dont sleep much now.

I've lived in my car before!

So, I guess that would mean I slept in it. . . .
