I went into the bathroom after he took a shower and seen the razor on the floor of the shower and it was full of hair we questioned him and he eventually told us and I asked why didn't you try shaving your face first? His response was why would I want to do that (Hoping he was just experimenting,Come to find out he has done it more than once) .

No, don't worry. Leave the kid alone. What parts of his anatomy he chooses to shave are his business, not yours.

He could be getting grief at school for having more hair than the other guys in the locker room. You'd be surprised at what kids will say to eachother these days. At 34, I still have to trim leg hair and areas I try not to discuss in polite company, to keep hair from poking through the compression shorts when I go play lacrosse. Male swimmers and runners often shave their legs for what they percieve, (I haven't seen any info to back up the claim,) as enhanced performance; and without more information, if he swims, he could be shaving so he doesn't look like a wolverine stuffed into a marble bag.

As a mechanic, I shave my arms. Cuts, scrapes and abrasions heal more rapidly if hair isn't growing into it. Having once been a young male, the uncomfortable truth is that hair grows in places you'd rather it not before it grows on your face, and often times more rapidly.

At 12, if he is shaving things, he probably has a good reason for doing it. If he hasn't asked you or his father for tips, he might be shaving things he'd rather not discuss with you.

There are plausible reasons, ranging from athletic to aesthetic. It's his hair, he's not committing any crime, which, if this still bothers you, pretty much limits you to watching him bathe to ensure he doesn't shave things you don't approve of him shaving, which is probably more disturbing than your knowledge of how he chose to manscape himself.

If he's secure with himself in the wake of his tonsorial trims, what do you care? Even if it should wind up with him telling you that he's a gay cross-dresser, what do you think you can do to stop it? He's your son, embrace him for what he is, and for the love of dogs, let him have some privacy in the bathroom.

And give him his own razor.

Nothing's wrong really. Kids that age want to look a little hairy. Especially in the pubic area or legs which will be visible. So they think that shaving will prompt faster hair growth. Because of the overdose of gay talk, don't jump to conclusions.

properly, while i began out shaving I used the Schick instinct razor because's what my mom makes use of, and it worked advantageous for me. it is handbook, and that i do no longer use shaving cream via fact it is have been given a hoop of cleansing soap around it. in simple terms tell your daughter to rub some cleansing soap on her legs till now she shaves. in ordinary terms slightly component: The refills for the instinct razor may be slightly high priced, yet they artwork great!

are his legs hairy? maybe, because other classmate's legs aren't hairy yet, and he doesn't want to be different. He may have also heard that if you shave, the hair might come in thicker and fuller, so he may just be trying to develop hairy legs. Or he may have other motives. I'd leave him alone; what he does in the bathroom and his room are his business.

I wouldn't worry about it. My little brother used to shave his arms, legs, everything when he was about that age. He's 20 now and only shaves his face now. It was just a phase.

heh reminds me of embarrassing moments in my own childhood.

He is in adolescence (puberty) and at the moment the world is revolving around his dick... to put it bluntly...

I personally wouldn't worry about this, it is a phase. But he maybe getting ideas from certain places like things kids at school are saying, pornography images, etc.
