Adobo squid, well you crush 3 gloves of garlic, finely chop 6 red onions, finely chop half kilo tomatoes. Then remove the hard thing from the middle portion of the 1 kilo squids' tentacles. Pull out the squid heads slowly so as to remove the intestines of the squids. Sometimes you will find small fish are still there. So, try to remove them. But try not to break the squids' ink. Then pull out the hard transparent thing from the squids' stomach. Wash the squid in such a way that you will not remove the ink.
Before you start to cook, put 1/2 cup of vinegar in a caserole and let it boil. Then set aside. In a deep frying pan, put 4 table spoons oil. Then saute the garlic till it turned brown under low fire. Then put the onion till it turned transluscent. Add tomatoes and cover it for 2 minutes. Then, add the boiled vinegar, salt and black pepper powder. [Thinly stripped ginger is an optional to eliminate the odor of the squid.] Taste it first if it's according to your desired taste. Then add the squid and bring it to boil for 3 minutes only. Or else, it will be hard to chew like a bubble gum ;) Then remove the pan from the fire. If the taste is sour, add 2 table spoons sugar to neutralize the taste.
Hmmmmmmmmm....... Now I am hungry.
Hope you enjoy your Adobo Squid :)

I just sautee chopped garlic until golden brown, throw in the squid, and then pour some vinegar later on and simmer. Add salt and pepper to taste. I don't measure ingredients.

You mean cooking squid in adobe stones?

Joke only! I am sure it was a typo.

Peace.
