They don't conserve money, they reserve it, for their pocket.
Ethics? Hell fire Flim Flam Men have no ethics!
They make speeches about they must have taxes, and every politician knows what is being done in Alaska. Alaska Pays all their residents with earth rights and doesn’t tax their residents. This makes the politicians liars!
They make speeches to get elected and make promises about what they will do for us. They say nothing about getting every dime of lobby money to do what big biz wants that’s opposite what they promised you they would do. That makes them cheats!
They stole your grandmother’s retirement money from SS. Now you face getting nothing for your SS payments. That makes them thieves!
They tax us, but they know the foreign companies pay no taxes on the goods they sell here. The goods are sold then bought on paper in a foreign port to skate the tax laws. Thus eliminating their profit on paper to cheat the US out of the taxes they owe. This makes them backstabbers!
They take lobby money to put earmarks and pork in every law that passes their desk. Then they do photo ops, and news clips to promote themselves as doing something good for us and America. So they corkscrew us!
They make back room deals and give our tax money to foreigners who build factories with our money. Then they write laws that send our jobs overseas. This makes them dirty dealers!
So lets total all this up. They lie, cheat, steal, backstab, corkscrew, and dirty deal. HELL their Flim Flam Men! Just like in the George C. Scott movie “ The Flim Flam Man”!
They are called the “ Honorable” Senator or Representative. Hell Flim Flam Men have NO honor what so ever! They’re crooks, criminals for God’s sake!
The BBC has film of ALL of them going in and out of Abramoff’s restaurant. That’s THE place in DC to get loaded with lobby money. The BBC has been running this story, and trying to get the US media to run it too. The US media refuses to run the story.
It’s time to take America back! Get registered! VOTE! Vote for anyone that’s not a Democrat or a Republican. They have ALL the power and ALL the control. They must bear ALL the responsibility for their gross mismanagement, abysmally poor judgment, lies, cheating, thefts, back stabs, corkscrews, and dirty deals! It’s time to put THEM in the unemployment line!

this administration definitely has not shown themselves to be fiscal conservative but they have been really stingy with the ethics. i don't think they have used any of theirs.
don't confuse this administration with conservatives because with the exception of supreme court nominees they have not proven to be very conservative.
smaller government-no instead a more invasive government then ever, they have given us no child left behind and no funding for it, they have run up a ridiculous deficit and have opened our borders and markets with no guarantees for us.
i am a liberal and i certainly don't want a conservative in the white house. bush and this administration haven't done anything right conservatives consider him a failure, liberals consider him a failure and moderates just don't consider him.

Trout, you're fishing and not even using the right bait! You are dillusional and extremely myopic if you think you can "blame" the republicans/conservatives solely for the two fron war the Clinton created by inaction and was voted on by a resounding majority of both republicans AND democrats. You choose to ignore facts.
On ethics, the republicans tend to feed the offender to the sharks (Duke Cunningham is a grand example) while the democrats on the other hand, always circle the wagons and defend the criminal at all costs regardless of how guilty (Jefferson of La., Clinton -- Whitewater, Monica, etc., Mayors Negin and Barry, Governor Blanco, Governor Davis, etc..). To you I can only say, "coffee, meet kettle."

The term "Conservative" would not have something to do with conservation. fairly it makes use of the definition "carefully reasonable or purposefully low". it is the comparable use once you're making the assertion "A conservative estimate." The term, while used suitable skill that a "Conservative" seeks to have a reasonable, or low government. yet in a diverse way of explaining it is the old adage asserting "Liberals are for "huge" government, the place conservatives are for "small" government." It in simple terms refers to their perception that they opt to have a smaller extra "conservative" definition of government, as adversarial to a liberal or "broader" definition.

The problem is the Republicans are only *socially* conservative, not fiscally conservative.
If you want fiscally conservative you need a Ron Paul type.
