Does anyone know about your fall? Store manager? Witnesses? You need to act fast! I am not sure what state you are in, but you need to go to the ER, call the store if they don't know and advise them asap. If you never told anyone just tell them that you fell earlier today and you did not think anything of it, tell them you are now in a great deal of pain. Then make sure you get names. Tell the manager you are going to the ER and you will follow up with them. If you are in NY, I can refer you to a few attys.
I worked PI law and TORT.

it rather is ordinary to be sore once you're injured, and you have been injured. in case you're worried that an harm could be severe, you're able to see a doctor. with any luck it rather is barely contusions and bruising of soppy tissues which will verify without issues. many times the discomfort peaks interior of an afternoon or 2 after the fall as swelling and bruising can proceed to enhance for that long, and inflammation may be significant. The greater of it there is, the greater it hurts. yet because of the fact the immune gadget gradually clears away the lifeless cells, inflammation settles and injuries heal, there is far less discomfort. discomfort might enhance as you utilize the injured factors greater, yet whilst it somewhat is going to become severe or does not advance interior of a useful quantity of time, you're able to see a doctor just to confirm there is not greater severe harm requiring medical care. i've got waited thinking some injuries might heal on their very very own and whilst they did not advance i ultimately had xrays and found out i might broken bones. So, which could take place. not all fractures are rather basically obvious, rather if the alignement of the fractured bone ends isn't displaced.

You should have gone to the doctor as soon as it happened so if you had hurt yourself you wouldn't have made it worse. But, better late than never. If you decide to sue the fact that you didn't go right away may hurt your case, especially if you told them you were fine. On the other hand some stores will settle for a certain amount since it cost less than taking it into a court room (attorney fees and court costs). But yes you should go get your pain checked out no matter what.

YES!!! Go a.s.a.p, let your doctor know exactly what happened and get checked out.
It may seem a little sore now but it could turn into a life long problem! Your doctor will help you with what to do from there. Don't let it go because it would be horrible if you were to get stuck paying a bunch of bills that you could have taken care of for you! GL!

I suggests going to a walk-in clinic if you have one near by. If you are not prevented from doing any of your normal activities and there is no radiating pain there is probably no cause to sit in an ER for 3 hours (but then again, I'm not in med school yet). Take some anit-inflamitories (in some painkillers), ice it, then take a warm bath and ice it again. Rest it.
Try to figure out why you fell to prevent it in the future.
And please don't tie up the courts. That isn't justice.

Broken bones?
Permanent disfigurement?
Lifetime disability?
If the answers to these questions isn't "yes" then you will not be likely to earn enough money in a lawsuit to make it worth the lawyer's time to represent you.
If all you need is a couple days taking it easy and a few ibuprofen pills then don't waste your time.
You're not going to collect a zillion dollars.

depending on how bad the injury is, even if its not visible, it would be suggested to go see a doctor to make sure any damage done will be identified.
If you would wish to just wait taking a risk it may get worse, than see a doctor until its really necessary.

If you have been feeling sore for some time, I would go.... Otherwise maybe just have a bath with Epsom Salt and take some Advil. I hope you feel better.
