My poor little boy had this problem a lot when he was an infant, as he suffers from numerous allergies. The only things you can do is keep sucking it out, put some vicks on a cloth in his crib (under a sheet or something so he can smell it but not touch it) and if it is really bad, have him sleep in his car seat so that he will be elevated and his nose will drain. Good luck to you.

My 3 1/2 month old son has had the same problem on and off for 2 months. Use the saline solution in his nose, and not just a little bit your not trying to dampen his nostrils your trying to flush everything down his throat. You should also try putting a humidifier in the room he sleeps in, and make sure hes sleeping in a crib or bassinet because mattresses, blankets, and pillows are full of allergens. i co-slept with my son until I found out that, that might have been what was causing all the congestion. My sons doctor also told me not to use the nose sucker she said that it irritates the nose more and could make the congestion last longer. Good luck

Mix 1 part saline in 3 parts warm water and with a baby medicine syringe, put a couple small drops into his nose. Use a bulb syringe to suck out the snot, since the saline will losen it up.

My youngest had this for about a month after she was born, and it was the only thing I could do for her.

Keep doing what your doing and I would also add a humidifyer to his bedroom, running both day and night. It will to keep his nasal passages moist.

Good luck
