More important, would any of you watch this train wreck that may even go up against Larry King and Hannity/Colmes.

If they want a liberal that bad, can't they find one with half a brain. Let's be serious, Rosie's about as sharp as a marble.

Here's the story:

Well, she clearly increased viewership on The View, so someone must have been watching.

The show would be cheap to produce, so it is a low priced bet.

If on against King and Hannity/Colmes, there is room for others who are not being served by that type of show, and MSNBC's ratings there are dismal so there is nowhere to go but up.

Grabbing low hanging fruit would be a big deal for MSNBC, and the publicity would benefit the network as a whole and could be leveraged.

That would be the plan anyway.

The article alludes to other possibilities, but the thinking would be similar.

I can only take her style for a few minutes at a time, but I think there is a place in the entertainment world for her.

I would expect her to be very keen on playing a role in transitioning an audience from TV to the internet historically - check back in 20 years. Maybe maybe not, but she ought to be thinking along those lines. will make for a nice "rest of career" strategy.

And why not? Howard Stern sees himself the same way for satellite radio. Good for him!

No. Nobody will watch Rosie but the gay and lesbians and devoted Logo viewers. She will cost NBC ratings if she breaks out and turns the show into some obscene political rant during primetime, and NBC will be saddled up with lawsuits.

Did NBC learn nothing from Barbara Walters when she had Rosie cohost on The View?

the actual colorings for any medium is earnings, so specific, MSNBC is making the terrific suited circulate, right here. She's inappropriate, yet she's wacko sufficient to make press -- and scores. Ann Coulter and Rosie could do a variety of "factor-Counterpoint" products on 60 minutes; that would desire to get scores.

Hey, they want to kill thier ratings, and be lumped in with the insanity that comes out of "O' Blimpo", OK by me.

I can guarantee I will NOT pay dollars towards advertiser's products who suppor that kind of illogical garbage !

O'Blimpo needs serious re educating...but her cholesterol count probably would block any logical thought processes from ever happening !

Personally, I really don't care - I wouldn't watch it, so it means nothing to me. She is a windbag, and an entertainer. Too many giver her words too much power.
