Does anyone know how long speeding tickets stay on your record in Texas i've heard 2 or 3 years...

They stay on your perminent record for life. some insurance agencies pinelize you for 2-6 years. If you get three tickets in two years or five in three years they can take your licence away.
Now about the $1000.00 per year for three years pinalty for just getting a ticket accessed by the DPS(seperate from the court) sucks with a capital S

Don't mess with Texas. A speeding ticket stays on your record for 3 years. The ticket can be dismissed, if one takes drivers training, you pay for the course and court cost. If you got a ticket and have already paid it you can still take the course by paying for it and have your insurance rate dropped 10% a year.
