i need a math function i can use in a graphing calculator, that is like a factorial but addition instead?

so something i can put into my calculator to find the sum of all the proceeding numbers to one number

is there something on your calculator that looks like an E with a line? It is a symbol that means total or sum. I had to download the instruction manual for my calculator to do my Statistics homework.
