Months ago I've cancelled my AOL account, and they're still sending the bill for it. I called customer service again, hoping to make it clear that I don't want their service, but all they kept doing was offering me more of their software. I got so upset, I just hung up. Has anyone had this kind of trouble with AOL?

I don't get it. You don't use them anymore but they still send a bill? You need to talk to a supervisor, and that person's supervisor, until you get someone who has the authority to get you out of their database completely.

AOL representatives are instructed to do just that. Keep on giving you offers or you simply just give up. What they actually have done is whats instructed to have your service continue. The best way is to go straight that you are not interested on their service any longer and ask for a confirmation number. If all else fail, have your credit card company deny charges to AOL.

i had the same problem. i had to talk to a manager and i had to threaten to sue. AOL is ridiculous with things like that. They tried offering me things also. I guess all i can say is threaten to sue lol good luck!

OH YEAH... They've been doing that to me for years now. I just called my credit card company and had THEM deal with it. I suggest you do the same.
