does it itch like hell when it grows back?

waxing down there would be inordinately painful, you still risk ingrown hair, but it should not itch when it grows back. However, the genital region has hair for a reason, it wicks moisture away, so be prepared for lovely things like yeast infections.

I got it done for the first time last year for my wedding... not bad at all. Yes it is not the most pleasant thing but it took about as long as shaving does and then no hair for weeks! It didn't itch at all when it grew back.
I would just make sure you go to a good salon. My friends went with me and they agreed that it wasn't bad at all and DEFINITELY worth it!

Personally, I get brazillians quite frequently (about six to eight times a year.) It's just mine and my husband's preference. However, until you're used to it, it is quite painful. I like it because it seems cleaner to me, and being mediterranean I tend to have thicker hair than usual which I don't like. If you're going on vacation or just like the smooth look without the hassle of shaving constantly, it's a good choice. If you're okay with stuble and razor bumps then I'd suggest shaving. Shaving is less expensive, but it doesn't do it for me. I think it's just personal preference. You could always try it once, and if you hate it don't go back...

IMO i don't think waxing is worth it, it hurts too much. i shave everyday instead and yes, it does itch like hell until your body gets use to it.

It's definitely worth it!! and no it doesn't itch...it last @ least 3 to 4 weeks...and it's just wonderful. Not even close to as painful as people think.

Go for it!
