Has anyone auditioned for Berklee, and can tell me what goes on in the audition? Thanks so much.

it is easy and if you have a hint of talent, you'll make it.

true story.. someone once filled out an application for their dog and got in.

They also take into account what your plans are for Berklee. For example, if you are dead set on being a performance major, yes, you will be judged harsher. However, if you plan on being a business major, then they will go easier on you. Just because you may not be as talented as someone on the guitar (or whatever instrument) That doesn't mean you may not be an outstanding leader in the business field. They want their students to succeed in all their majors.

The audition will be not much different than any other other advanced audition. You will need to be well prepared with a prepared piece, ready for some sight reading, and some improv/jam time.

The more important part is the interview. You will need to be able to show that you are committed to study in professional music and that you have the drive.

add: they didn't notice it was a dog during the audition or interview? I know that girl!!!

It's not as bad as you might expect but it does require some talent.
