Anyone take celexa? How long did it take before you felt a difference?

I took it, don't really remember, but it obviously didn't work or I'd still be taking it. No I didn't gain weight.

My depression never responded to Celexa. I took it for more than 6 months. I was told that it takes 2-4 weeks to feel the full effects of anti-depressants.
I have gained weight with every anti-depressant I have taken.
Let your doctor know if you are unhappy with the results of the Celexa at this point and see if s/he has any suggestions for you. You might not have given it enough time.
