tell me what it's like to work at Burger King
shitty job, i know, but most restaurants in my area prefer to hire people with prior experience or who are over 16

Working at BK you could be working a register, the grill, the fry station, dining room, drive through. I am not sure about the benefits. One of my friends worked there and said it was the easiest job. He did a night time register shift. Just work there for a little while to gain experience, then you can work at another job!
There are a lot of worse jobs than working at bk.

I have never worked at BK, but at your age any job experience is great. It may not be forever, but it is a honest job that will make you look good two or years from now when you go to look for a better job.
