Should she pay everyone off and close the school? Keep it open? Have private investigators interview and do background checks on future employees?

Opra is setting the example of what money can do with an effort to make this world a better place.

This type of scandal could change the course of events
It will be a thought to ponder in making significant contributions like this!

It was never mentioned how or what type of screening the teachers and other staff had.

Certainly there had to be a credential, reference and background check!

Unfortunately, this happens more than we know.
Of course Opra's involvement made it newsworthy

I hope this doesn't tarnish what she is trying to accomplish!

She should keep it open, and keep the issue public. Awareness will help, and she can't just give up. There should be background checks, but I thought I heard that there were and it happened anyway. She should find out how this could have been possible and correct it, which I'm sure that she is doing. Therapists at the school probably wouldn't hurt as well.

She should leave the school open for the children, but maybe do back ground checks on all employees. One bad person shouldn't make it have to be closed for the rest of the people.

Opra is responding properly,by letting the law handle the case. If you know opra, she is an adult survivior of sexual abuse deep down I do not think in her heart she could just pay everyone off. If I know her she will see that the vic's get the couseling they will need. Hiring practices will have back ground checks from now on.

I think Oprah makes more money than God, and she shouldn't have any scandals to deal with in the first place. Get it figured out, Oprah! If she wants something done, I'm sure she can do it.

It is very sad. Seems when one wants to do something worthwhile someone else has to get in the middle and ruin everything.

Its not her fault. Stop the witchhunt. The real witches are the molester and the insensitive media.
