Well, when my kiddos were little, I would carry around the following items:

Diapers (of course)
Wipes ( " )
Diaper rash cream
Extra Pacifiers
Bibs
Extra change of clothes ( a few)
Blankets
Baby food and snacks (when they get older)
Formula
Bottles with water in them for making the formula
Spoons
Infant Tylenol
Thermometer

Hope this helps! If I think of anything else, I'll add it on!

A day's supply of diapers

• A travel-size case of wet wipes

• Plastic bags for disposing of soiled diapers

• A small water bottle

• Paper towels in Ziploc-style bag

• One cloth diaper

• Diaper rash ointment

• A tube of teething gel

• Sunscreen

• Acetaminophen or ibuprofen for babies (and for you)

For a newborn...2 changes of clothes (including socks and an extra hat of it's cold) and a clean shirt for me in my trunk cos they spit up. Diapers, rash cream, wipes, extra pacifier, extra blanket, baby Tylenol (for an older baby), rattle or something to keep them distracted, a bib, a burp rag, formula, bottles. I think that's about it.

Oh yeah and a changing pad.
