Your question seems to presuppose that the two are mutually exclusive. I think it would be rare that they would be. However, if you mean to imply that in order to maintain your "love" or relationship by denying a correct or "right" response out of fear that the other who loves you will stop loving you due to your being right and making them wrong, I think that is a false choice. If two people love each other being right or being wrong from time to time should not be so important that it would cause a loss of love. If it does, one needs to learn to deepen their love and gain some self- confidence so that this won't be a problem.

Depends.

Someone who is right all the time does not have many friends.

Someone who loves other people has more friends than they realize.

Maybe the most right thing to do is love other people and do right yourself while learning some diplomacy and tact.

Just a thought.

Good question!

An odd question Stan.
I am not sure how you mean, 'right?'
If you mean a sense of personal correctness in conjunction with the experience of receiving love from another...
But I'm not sure that's what you mean?
If you mean would I rather be loved and always be wrong about everything...
Can you possibly mean that?
My simple mind simply does not understand the question, but I'd like to.

Being loved and being right are equally important to me.

It is possible for two entirely different things to be right. What one person experiences may be quite different to the same thing experienced by another person so that there actually isn't any one thing that is 'right' the truth is there for both arguments.
It is more important to love yourself than to be loved by another. You see you are the only person who loves yourself and if you don't love yourself than what is it that you actually offer another if you say you 'love' them.
If you love and are loved it will be easy to agree to disagree, if the 'loved' one does not then it isn't a mutual love and the relationship isn't worth it.

depends on what i'm right about. if we're arguing over the of price tea in china then no i'd rather be loved than right & i'll gladly let you think that you're right just to maintain peace, but if it's something important & someone is not interested in hearing my opinion or listening to me then no they can *****!

If you are right, then people who realise that will love you. People that don't like that will eventually get over it, but those that love won't care whether you are right or wrong.

really depends on the situation....
if it is something really little that i am right about, then i would rather be loved.

if it is something that is life changing... then i would be right,

but it also depends on the person and who they are with.

i choose love
