3x+4/2=12
Simplify 4/2:
3x+2=12
Subtract 2 from both sides:
3x=10
Divide by 3:
x=10/3
Checking:
3(10/3)+4/2=12
10+4/2=12
10+2=12

(3x + 4) / 2 =12
3x + 4 = 12 X 2
3x + 4 = 24
3x = 20
x = 20/3

the easiest way is to undo everything
first u simplify 4/2=2
u subtract 2=10
then divide by 3
equals 10/3= 3.333
x=3.333 or 10/3
all u have to do is switch the signs, if ur supposed to add subtract, if u multiply divide. hope this helps
