I would have to say if you are looking at the bed I sleep on the right side. I think most women are comfortable sleeping on the right side of the bed, just how most women sleep away from the window but towards the door so you can see if anyone is coming in and the light from the window shows shadows that can tell you if anyone is behind you near the window. It's more of a security thing, especially for those women who live by themselves.

I'm a woman and I sleep on the left if you're standing at the bottom of the bed looking toward the top. If your looking from the top of the bed ldown, I sleep on the right. However, I also sleep on the top, instead of the bottom.

i asked a similar question a while back. wondered if guys slept on the side nearest the door to protect the woman. There didnt seem to be any pattern.
