Sometimes, just writing all your feelings out, or even just having someone to talk to. Me personally, I love to listen to Aaliyah when I'm angry because her voice calms me down.
Or, you could do what the trolls do and vent all your frustrations right here on Y!A....though I hope you don't do that. You're much to nice for that. lol!!!!!

I don't get extremely angry but when I get angry I think of people I know that have an anger problem. I realize that they look foolish and I don't want to be viewed by others like that way.

I usually take a long walk to 1) remove myself from the situation that is making me angry before I do something or say something I may regret 2) it wears me down phsyically & gives me time to think about what I am angry about so I can deal with it with a level head.

For me, I always listen to some relaxing music... some more folksy/acoustic stuff from the 1970s or some softer rock from the 1970s works well. Then, I drink a lot of Dr Pepper. It helps calm me (believe it or not). With the music still going, I read a favorite book or collection of comic strips (the offbeat ones - "Calvin and Hobbes", "Get Fuzzy," "Pearls Before Swine" - seem to work best). This usually helps. If I want to, I occasionally scratch down some lyrics.

Or, if none of that helps, I just go to Olive Garden with my favorite P&Ser - Linda :)

Good to see you again.

Well honey, here are 2 things which I'll do when in extreme anger though:-

* Gym Work-Out - When one is in anguish, there's nothing other than a good work-out in the gym which pushes all our anguishes out and thus, make us trim and fit too though.

* Punching Bag - When I was in my prime, I will punch the punching bag placed in my room when in anger to force out the heat and thus, make it a good reason to exercise to keep one in shape though.

Cheers and have a nice week ahead :)

What, Sir Winston Churchill did. Write down all your angry thoughts on paper and, later on, when you are cool, just tear up the paper into tiny pieces and scatter them to the winds!

Either go out and start walking in the most vigorous pace you can maintain, or listen to loud hard rock music while dancing frantically: in a few minutes, you'll start feeling relieved and muuuch better!!!

I just stay away from everyone till I get over it, mostly that's about 10 to 20 minutes, that's my cool down time because if I don't I'm afraid I'll say something I'm going to regret saying.
