A lot of it depends on what size engine your putting it in. Smaller 4 cyl engines have much closer tolerances than larger engines and the polymers that bind the oils different weights,10 15 40 etc, could "POSSIBLY" cause some problems. I'd just suggest changing your oil and putting in
whatever weight is recommended.

Nothing will happen per say. One oil is thicker thank the other. Once they mix it should be ok. Just make sure you change out your summer oil for winter oil. One grade it thicher for summer. you want thinner for winter.

No damage...might separate when sitting, but will mix once running...not a common practise, but won't hurt once...just don't ever mix synthetics with regular oil.

Don't mess with your engine.
Don't take chances.
The worst thing is to mix synthethic oil with natural oil.

One of three things could occur.
1. Your car could seize up.
2. It could create a temporal rift in the space time continum thereby destroying the universe as we know it.
3. May a bit more smoke blowing out than normal.
The third option would be the most likely....(but don't discount the second)

blow you engine if you want....a car company recomends a certain weight of oil for a reason. if you go lighter there wont be enough lube, and so on. go with the recomended one. it will hurt your engine otherwise
