Lots of grapes in Australia.

IMO, best wine growing regions would be Margaret River, Barossa Valley, and Hunter Valley.

There are vineyards in every State and both mainland Territories in Australia. Many hundreds of different wines are made. We also grow grapes of many varieties for eating.
