is it true a gurl can get prego anyday?? like one week u have ur period then the next week shouldn't u be safe? if its like every month or so, well for me it is

A girl can get pregnant any day. Just b/c you have your period does not mean you are ovulating. Ovulation is when the egg is released from the ovaries and travels to the uterus where it will be released. If between the time it is released and the time it is released from your body, sperm gets inside of you, it can reach the egg and you will get pregnant. Unless you monitor your body temperature for several months and determine when you ovulate, you will not know when this happens.

Women are only fertile for a few days out of every month. Usually about 14 days after the first day of your period you ovulate(if you have a 28 day cycle). Your most fertile days are the day you ovulate and the few days right before and right after. However, sperm can live inside the body for up to 5 days, so any sex within this time window could potentially get you pregnant. If your cycles are shorter, then you could potentially get pregnant if you have sex during your period. Don't risk it, be safe and use protection!

Protected or unprotected, during your period, before your period, after your period.
ANY TIME you have sex you risk the chance of pregnancy.

Honestly, you need to be protected everytime you have sex, because you could get pregnant pretty much anytime, even if you think you can't. The best bet is to have no sex until you are married. >L
